We are very excited to work with Christmas for the Least of These to offer a puppy for auction. We do NOT do this lightly at all. We have been breeding for almost 16 years and are picky about our owners. I assure you we will be communicating with the winner to make sure everyone is a fit for each other. Rest assured. Christmas for the Least of These is such an amazing organization that works tirelessly through this season sacrificing their own families to make sure these children get some of their wishes granted. None of these are extreme. Just simply a REAL Barbie or a jacket or REAL name brand tennis shoes. Sometimes many have never had due to the circumstances of the life they were born into. No foster child chooses this! This money will 100% go to Christmas for the Least of These. 3 of our 6 children were adopted from foster care and this means a great deal to us.
This is for a medium/standard Sheepadoodle (Old English Sheep Dog and Poodle). The range is 40-60 lbs, but most sit under 50 lbs. I am posting photos of our 2 Sheepadoodles and the puppies that are available. They are calm, loving dogs that are easy to train. They are not high energy at all. We had Georgia at the mall all day Saturday and then remained while our church choir sang. She was there from about 2:30 until 7:30. She just hung out as chill as could be, even in the huge crowds that came through.
Keep in mind, if bidding, these dogs DO require maintenance. They must be groomed about every 6 weeks. Those long coats are hard to maintain and need brushing often to keep from having mats that hurt the skin. Their feet must be trimmed of fur to keep them from hurting their toes. Nope, it's NOT Likely you can do it without some training and help. We have videos on our website of basic grooming needs and tools.
There is a RESERVE bid so the starting bid is ONLY a start. These dogs sell for $1800. This doesn't mean the bid will go that high, but that is what they sell for.
WHY? Because health, temperament and socialization mean a great deal to us. Each parent is tested and paired with their mate based on those tests. Most belive that if you put 2 beautiful non-shedding doodles together that you will produce that. That cannot be further from the truth! Socialization is NOT petting puppies and having them around children. There is WAY more to it than that. We follow a DAILY program so that our pups are ready for ANY family, any noise level, any energy level. They are evaluated and re-evaluated and given what they need based on those evaluations. Many people come to us after having gotten a pup from a backyard breeder that had no clue how important each of these components are. They are ready for a quality dog that is ready for their family!
They are litter trained at 4 weeks so they KNOW where to go potty making potty training SO MUCH easier. They are crate trained so they know where to go when tired or need to get away. They learn a recall word "pup, pup, pup" so they come when called.

You will have 5th pick from this litter in early January when they are ready to go home. I can't confirm which gender. 4 people are ahead of you. I KNOW first pick has chosen the chocolate male. There are 5 males and 3 females. One more chocolate is female. The rest are apricot or golden and white parti colored (this means 2 colors). You will get loads of information from us to make this transition simpler. We also have a page for our owners to keep up with littermates or ask questions and post photos.
